For over 20 years Beverley has been assisting members of her community with their health care needs. Beverley received a Specialized B.A. (Honours) in Kinesiology and Health Sciences
from York University in 2001 and immediately began her career as a Kinesiologist. Providing rehabilitation services within the public and private sectors, her work as a Kinesiologist allowed her the opportunity to work with clients of all ages and conditions including the incredible opportunity to work at York Central Hospital’s Outpatient Physiotherapy
Department primarily rehabilitating total hip and total knee replacement patients.
Yearning to further her education, Bev attended The Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy where she excelled in her studies and graduated at the top of her class.
Always looking to stay on top of the most current research and therapies, Beverley is continually updating her education. Since 2003, she has obtained post graduate training in CranioSacral Therapy I & II, CranioSacral Therapy for the Reticular Alarm System and the Soft Palate, TMJ Mastery, Head, Neck and Jaw Master Class, TMJ Myofascial Techniques, Clinical Acupuncture, Medical Acupuncture, SomatoEmotional Release I & II, Pediatric CranioSacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation and Reiki Levels 1&2.
Continuing her quest to advance her knowledge and skills, Beverley began a 5-year program in the field of osteopathy at the renowned Canadian College of Osteopathy in Toronto. Bev is extremely enthusiastic about her osteopathic training and knows it will blend seamlessly with her current practice in addition provide an even deeper level of treatment for her clients. Beverley has completed four years of clinical and theoretical training, successfully passing her final exams in September 2022. Bev is now in the final stage of completing her designation and has begun her thesis on "The Effects of Global Osteopathic Treatment on Pain and Quality of Life for individuals with Trigeminal Neuralgia: A Case Series."
Beverley's current practice focuses on the use of Massage Therapy, CranioSacral Therapy, Intra Oral Therapy, Acupuncture and Osteopathic Manual Therapy to aid and foster an optimal balance of health and wellness to clients of all ages. A large focus of her practice is with the treatment of TMJ Dysfunction and conditions involving the head, neck and face, however Bev also deals with sport, pregnancy and stress related musculoskeletal and neurological concerns. In addition to working with the physical aspects of the body, Beverley pays keen attention to emotional and cognitive aspects of the individual and works to assist her clients in their own interpersonal growth.
